Running EPOSMoteII on batteries
WARNING: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE STEPS ON THIS NOTE FOR CONNECTING A BATTERY SET TO THE EPOSMote. THE BOARD MAY BE PERMANENTLY DAMAGED IF THESE STEPS ARE NOT FOLLOWED.
In order to safely connect a battery to your EPOSMoteII be sure that:
- Your battery (or battery set) operating voltage is within the supported range, that is, between 2.1V and 3.6V. EPOSMoteII may be damaged if a higher voltage is provided, or may not operate properly if a lower voltage is used;
- If you are using EPOSMoteII version 1, you may pay attention to the battery polarity. Follow the + (plus) and - (minus) signals printed on the board and be sure to connect them, respectively, to the positive (+) and negative (-) poles of the battery;
- If you are using a Alfa or Beta version of EPOSMoteII, please identify the correct disposition of the positive (+) and negative (-) pins in the picture bellow (click to enlarge).
